With Just Inches to Spare

I’ve finished the outer layer of my Luffe mittens. The closer I got to the end, the more nervous I was. I had one ball of Telemark yarn in black (and of course, it is a discontinued yarn) and I was worried about running out. I ended up having enough, with just this much left over.

I’m pretty happy with how the mittens have turned out so far. Once they are lined, I think they’ll be nice and cozy.

I’ve decided to use some Twist Light by Madelinetosh from my stash for the lining. The colorway is called Magic and it is a combination of pink, black, green, and blue. I knit up a test square to see how I liked the color combination and I was pretty happy.

Maybe I’ll even get these done by my January 31 deadline.
