Happy 2019!
As I mentioned in the last post, I didn’t do fantastically at meeting my fiber goals in 2018. However, 2019 is a new year, so I might as well set some new goals for this year.
I’m planning on continuing with my stash reduction goal. However tracking skeins in versus skeins out didn’t really work for me. My plan for 2019 is to knit from my stash as much as possible, and if I buy yarn, only buy something that is needed for a particular project, or if the yarn is really, really, super special yarn.
I also want to work more on organizing my yarn. As Kiddo grows and acquires more stuff, our house seems to keep shrinking. It no longer works to just stuff yarn wherever, especially if I want to be able to find it again. Hopefully, I can get it all listed on Ravelry, including notes on where it stored.
There are some specific projects that I would like to tackle in 2019, including; Flaming June, Ramona Mittens, Gramps Cardigan (for Kiddo), and Persian Dreams Afghan.
I would still really like to learn how to weave, plus at some point I think it might be fun to learn to spin also.
Here’s to a fiber-filled 2019!
