Oh Boy.

Kiddo has requested a puppy stuffie. He’s not much of a stuffie kid, but is insisting that he needs one. I’m not one to say no to Kiddo’s request for hand knit goods, so I’be cast on for a puppy, using Puppy Love pattern.

I let Kiddo have input on the yarn, and he found some Bernat Eyelash yarn that he decided would be perfect for the puppy. I’m not a fan of eyelash yarn at all, but Kiddo says. I’m holding the eyelash yarn with a strand of Red Heart Baby Sport (another yarn that I’m not a huge fun of).

Due to the thickness of the yarn combination, I had to go up a few needle sizes, from the suggested size 4 up to a size 6.

I’m only a few rows into the first front paw, and it seems delightfully fluffy, but also pretty big. I may be knitting a giant puppy.

Good thing Kiddo is cute.
