Grace Clutch as Promised

Here it is, knit, blocked, and assembled!

The bag is a bit on the floppy side, but it is a gift for a friend, and I’m letting her make any decisions on lining the bag.

Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. I’m still planning on making another bag, for me. There are a couple of things I’m planning on doing differently the next time I make it.

I’m absolutely going to line mine. I’m thinking about adding a layer of plastic canvas at the bottom to help it give it structure.

I also may try to do the pleats differently. The ones on this bag didn’t really work out, so I may try securing them with a couple of stitches instead of building them into the picked up stitches along the top.

I’ll be giving it to my friend this weekend, hopefully she likes it!
